Global Golf Industry Reunites for Jam-Packed PGA Show, Jan. 23-26, in Orlando

More golf brands, larger Show Floor, new specialty pavilions, and new PGA Show Winter Jam headline busy week at the 71st PGA Show.

ORLANDO, Fla (January 22, 2024) – The 71st PGA Show will bring together PGA of America Golf Professionals, industry executives, retailers and golf leaders from around the world to meet with more than 1,000 golf companies and brands within 1.1 million square feet of exhibit, demonstration and meeting space of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, January 23-26, 2024. The PGA Show marks the annual start of the New Year for the $102 billion golf industry and an unparalleled platform to discover the newest innovations, test the latest equipment and technology, learn from industry experts and network with peers to advance the business of the sport.

The PGA Show, organized by PGA Golf Exhibitions and the PGA of America, began in the trunks of cars at a winter golf tournament in 1954 and has grown into golf’s longest running and largest global business gathering. Current industry professional registration exceeds 30,000 golf industry professionals from 84 countries and all 50 U.S. states. More than 7,000 PGA of America Golf Professionals are registered to attend, representing widespread professional positions in the industry that drive grassroots participation by some 41.1 million Americans in the sport which contributes $226.5 billion in total economic impact in America. Additionally, some 900 VIP buyers representing some 660 golf facilities and mass merchandisers are making plans to source new products and services, representing approximately $800 million in purchasing power and nearly $2 billion in retail sales.

While the PGA Show is an unmatched marketplace for discovering the latest golf innovations, PGA Show Week also offers industry professionals programming to recharge and renew their passion for the business of the game by attending high-level industry presentations, participating in education and career workshops and connecting in person with peers from around the world. Thousands of PGA of America Golf Professionals will test the latest equipment and technology from some 70 top golf companies during PGA Show Demo Day, the world’s largest professional outdoor demo day and the annual kickoff of PGA Show Week, at the expansive circular range and 42-acre practice facility at Orange County National Golf Center on January 23. The immersive day-long event, produced in partnership by the PGA Show and PGA Magazine, also features extensive product education, coaching workshops, club fitting presentations, programming on golf range strategies, demonstrations by PGA TOUR professionals and top PGA of America Coaches, and opportunities to meet one-on-one with industry leaders in numerous categories.

This year’s Demo Day offers a new layout of companies on the driving range, multiple practice greens and short game testing areas, a large vendor village called the Discovery Zone, a Demo Day Test track for golf cart and vehicle testing, the Demo Day stage for industry presentations and a central food court featuring food trucks and live music by Spencer Ludwig, Latin Grammy winning and Grammy performing trumpeter, songwriter, producer and DJ. The 2024 PGA Show Demo Day is open exclusively to PGA of America Golf Professionals and media from 9 a.m. to noon and opens to additional PGA Show registered industry professionals, noon to 5 p.m.

PGA Show Floor
The PGA Show commences on Jan. 24 at the Orange County Convention Center with a brief opening ceremony at 8:15 a.m. and welcome by PGA of America President John Lindert and PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh. Following the ceremony, the doors will open to more than 1,000 companies and brands, from emerging ventures and veteran manufacturers to the games’ most recognizable brands, to create the world’s largest business-to-business golf event. Golf’s top companies and market-leading brands, along with more than 350 new to the PGA Show, are introducing thousands of new products and services to drive golf retail in 2024.

Industry Insights & Programming Across Five Show Floor Stages
In addition to the busy marketplace across the expanse of the Show Floor, PGA Show days are full of professional learning opportunities during exhibitor and industry presentations at five Show Floor stages. The PGA of America Industry Stage presented by CapTech will offer a full schedule of diverse programming from the PGA of America in collaboration with golf organizations, business leaders, top coaches, players and architects. The Golf Fitness, Wellness & Instruction stage will feature complimentary education sessions presented by TPI and the Golf Fitness Association of America, with supporting sponsor Life Fitness. The Inventors Spotlight stage will offer entrepreneur and inventor education sessions and product pitch panels each Show day. PGA Professionals, college students and second-career professionals can connect with employers right on the Show Floor in the new golf industry Career Zone featuring company recruiting activations, employer-led panel presentations and networking events. And finally, The Clubhouse pavilion stage features a full schedule of industry programming from brand executives and experts representing leading golf organizations such as the PGA of America, National Golf Course Owners Association, United States Golf Association, Golf Course Superintendents Association, LPGA and more.

Evening Special Events
The first Show Day, Jan. 24, will conclude with an Fashion Show Reception sponsored by Rhone, 5 – 6:30 p.m., and an exciting live runway Fashion Show, 5:30 – 6 p.m., located in the new Concert Lounge in Hall E at the Orange County Convention Center. The last Show evening, Jan. 25, will be capped with the inaugural PGA Show Winter Jam, supported by adidas and Corebridge Financial, featuring award-winning country music artist Jake Owen. The Back Country Boys will begin the Winter Jam at 6 p.m., followed by headliner Jake Owen, with DJ Spencer Ludwig closing out an electric concert night. Registered PGA Show attendees will receive complimentary admission to this limited attendance event and Show badge holders will receive admission on a first-come, first-served basis. The concert is not open to the public.

Show Floor Features
A dynamic 2024 PGA Show Floor features interactive destinations to personally engage attendees with company products and services including, the PGA of America Hub where members can centrally access Association and partner benefits and programming; the Equipment Test Center, featuring 44 testing bays and a 3,750 square-foot putting green; a centralized New Product Zone sponsored by The Net Return, for a one-stop shopping of the newest golf merchandise; the Inventors Spotlight exhibitor pavilion for patented products not yet available at retail; the Golf Fitness, Wellness & Instruction area; an Adaptive Golf Center; Career Zone, Golf Travel Pavilion, new Clubhouse pavilion, new PGA HOPE activation, Pickleball Courts for racquet demonstrations, and a new Concert Lounge in Hall E which will be home to the live Fashion Show and inaugural PGA Show Winter Jam.

Special Appearances & Events
Once again PGA Show Week will have a full schedule of special events to bring industry peers together. In addition to the new PGA Show Winter Jam and the Fashion Show held in the evenings, industry professionals can attend a variety of special events and various awards recognition programs by the PGA of America, LPGA and PGA of Canada, National Golf Course Owners Association and the Association of Golf Merchandisers; networking receptions and happy hours at a variety of Show Floor pavilions and exhibits, and multiple exhibitor events on the Show Floor and throughout Orlando in the evenings. Many exhibiting companies will host renowned PGA of America Coaches, PGA and LPGA tour professionals and celebrities at the PGA Show. Educational and Industry Programming
The 71st PGA Show features a comprehensive schedule of education sessions across a wide range of professional development topics presented by the industry’s foremost experts. The PGA Show Education Conference will offer sessions on Teaching & Coaching, Executive Management and Golf Operations, led by expert PGA of America Golf Professionals, Master PGA Professionals and top PGA Coaches. The Conference also features new PGA Show partner association sessions focused on technology solutions, food & beverage operations, retail strategies, marketing practices, facility branding, public relations, and more. Partner association sessions will feature industry experts who have presented at conferences by the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM), Club Managers Association of America (CMAA), National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA), and National Golf Foundation (NGF).

In addition to the PGA Show Education Conference, PGA of America Golf Professionals can attend complimentary Association workshops at the Member Business Center. PGA Show Week also is host to the National Golf Course Owners Association Golf Business Conference (Jan. 22-24) and the AGM Golf Retail Conference (Jan. 23). PGA Professionals can earn up to 30 PDR credits through participation in the PGA Show Education Conference, additional PGA Show Week educational programming, and various PGA Show and PGA of America programs.

PGA of America, LPGA and International PGA Professionals can register at no charge, while other industry personnel will incur a $199 event registration processing fee at the PGA Show through Jan. 26, 2024.
