2025 African American Golfer Expo and Forum Announced – Jan. 22-24,
Coinciding with 2025 PGA Show

The 2025 African American Golfer Expo and Forum will be conducted January 22 -24, in conjunction with the 72nd PGA Show in Orlando, as announced today by Jim Beatty founder of the EXPO and president of Jim Beatty Golf Ventures.

The EXPO activities will commence following the popular Diversity Roundtable & Reception, hosted for the 7th year by the PGA Show, from 1–6 pm on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the Orange County Convention Center in Room W206. EXPO Networking and Exhibits will take place immediately afterward, from 6:30–9 pm, coinciding with the conclusion of the PGA Show exhibit hall hours, at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, conveniently located across the street from the Convention Center. The networking events and exhibits at the Hyatt are free and open to the public, as well as PGA of America Golf Professionals and LPGA Professionals.

Additional EXPO breakout sessions will be held on Thursday, Jan. 23 at the Convention Center in W206 including a special ceremony announcing the 2025 recipient of the EXPO Jerry Tarde Courage award, named after the long-time Editor-In-Chief of Golf Digest. This award recognizes a person who has made significant accomplishments in pursuit of equity and diversity in the golf industry. Previous recipients have included former PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem and Former PGA of America CEO Jim Awtrey.

EXPO Networking and Exhibits, open to all, will again follow PGA Show exhibit hall hours on Thursday evening, Jan 23, 6:30 – 9 pm at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.

The annual Jim Beatty Invitational Scramble Tournament will be held on Friday afternoon, Jan. 24, at the Shingle Creek Golf Club.

ABOUT THE EXPO
